Job summary

Tetra Tech, Inc. in Bedford is seeking a dedicated Sample Reception Officer to join our laboratory team on a full-time basis for a six-month fixed-term contract.

You will oversee incoming deliveries, review accompanying documents and book samples into LIMS to ensure accurate capture of client requirements. Working closely with laboratory colleagues and the project coordination team, you will help maintain sample flow, storage and traceability while adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail required.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment is desirable.
• Previous laboratory experience would be advantageous.
• Experience using LIMS software would be highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Record sample information, temperatures, deviations, paperwork and chain of custody details accurately in LIMS.
• Receive, unpack, store and track samples in line with procedures.
• Liaise with laboratory colleagues and project coordinators to support timely sample processing.
• Follow established procedures for sample reception, storage, and basic preparation.
• Manage multiple incoming deliveries and changing priorities with accuracy.
