Job summary

Whale Tankers is seeking a Learning & Development Coordinator to design, coordinate, deliver and evaluate training initiatives, ensuring compliance with mandatory requirements and supporting both individual career development and organisational success.

The role covers training delivery, administration of apprenticeships, LMS management, stakeholder engagement, and ongoing improvement across the business, with occasional site travel.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable L&D experience, ideally within a compliance environment.
• Experience coordinating and administering training & development programmes.
• Experience managing an LMS.
• Experience in designing learning interventions.

Responsibilities

• Design, design and deliver training and development courses aligned to business needs.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to shape development requirements.
• Source training provision from external providers when required.
• Review training materials for compliance and relevance.
• Manage early career offerings, ensuring content and compliance.
• Monitor training KPIs and report monthly insights.
• Utilise our Learning platform to create an end-to-end LMS.
• Occasional travel to other sites, possibly overnight.
