Job summary

Cameron James Professional Recruitment is seeking an organised Learning and Development Manager to own the people development strategy across multiple sites, with travel to local offices. This hands‑on role involves designing, implementing and embedding structured learning solutions, creating a scalable L&D framework aligned to regulatory requirements, and overseeing systems and records.

Early Careers will be a major focus, building apprenticeships and graduate pathways, coordinating inductions

Qualifications

• Experienced L&D professional with a background in professional services or a regulated environment.
• Ability to design, implement and embed structured learning solutions across multiple sites.
• Strong capability to lead Early Careers and build talent pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Defining and delivering an L&D strategy aligned to priorities and regulatory requirements.
• Creating structured learning pathways supporting readiness, progression and leadership capability.
• Overseeing learning systems, compliance training and audit-ready records.
• Supporting managers to embed learning and build capability.
• Managing end-to-end L&D administration for a smooth learner journey.
• Designing an Early Careers framework covering apprentices, trainees, graduates and entry paths.
• Coordinating inductions, learning plans and reviews for early career colleagues.
• Building mentoring programmes to boost engagement and retention.
