Job summary

Trident Group in Erdington, Birmingham, UK is seeking an experienced Learning & Development Lead to drive a culture of continuous learning across the organisation.

You will design and deliver engaging learning programmes, lead leadership development initiatives, manage the LMS, and partner with stakeholders to identify needs and deliver effective solutions.

This role also focuses on onboarding, compliance training and evaluating impact to support growth and performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and delivering learning and development programmes.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills across a range of audiences.
• Experience developing managers and leaders.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
• Experience using learning technologies and LMS platforms.
• CIPD Level 5 in Learning & Development (or equivalent).
• A passion for helping people learn, grow and succeed.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging learning programmes.
• Lead management, leadership and skills development initiatives.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify learning needs and deliver effective solutions.
• Manage and develop our Learning Management System (LMS).
• Oversee mandatory and compliance training, reporting and learning records.
• Enhance onboarding and induction programmes for new colleagues.
• Line manage and develop the L&D Advisor.
• Evaluate learning impact and drive continuous improvement.
