Job summary

MSD seeks an experienced Learning & Development Instructional Designer and Developer to design and build high-quality learning products for a global audience. You will blend instructional design with hands-on development, delivering digital, ILT, VILT, and blended solutions that meet enterprise standards.

Responsibilities include translating requirements into detailed designs, applying adult learning principles, and creating engaging learning assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design or related field required.
• Minimum 6 years in learning design/development and demonstrated ability to perform both disciplines.
• Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
• Proven experience developing learning content using industry-standard authoring tools, including Articulate Storyline and Rise.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop learning solutions across modalities (digital, instructor-led, virtual, blended, performance support) per objectives and standards.
• Translate business requirements into detailed instructional designs and assets.
• Apply adult learning principles and learning science to create engaging, inclusive experiences.
• Build assets using approved tools, templates, and platforms with emphasis on accessibility and consistency.
• Develop assessments and measurements aligned to objectives and continuously improve deliverables.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, SMEs, localization leads, and reviewers to ensure accuracy and readiness for localization.
