Job Description: Learning and Development Coordinator at pladis

pladis, a global biscuits and confectionery business, is seeking a Learning and Development Coordinator to maintain compliance and technical development on-site. This role involves collaborating with labour planning and manufacturing teams to ensure an audit-ready environment, managing the site compliance training budget, overseeing vendor relationships, and aligning L&D needs with the central Centre of Excellence (COE).

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop compliance and technical development plans in partnership with site and L&D coordinators.
  2. Ensure the site remains “audit ready” concerning training records and systems.
  3. Conduct training needs analysis aligned with the site strategy.
  4. Coordinate rolling compliance training programs, including managing external vendors when necessary.
  5. Improve training delivery methods and develop effective shop floor skills training plans with manufacturing, engineering, and labour management teams.
  6. Maintain relevant training documentation and records on systems like Thrive (LMS) and Nvolve.
  7. Contribute to UK&I wide L&D initiatives as required.
Key Deliverables
  • Build credibility and trust with site teams through authentic relationships.
  • Demonstrate strong influencing, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Manage multiple demands effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain attention to detail while keeping the bigger picture in view.
  • Own personal accountability for performance and execution.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience in planning and coordinating multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of HR policies related to L&D.
  • Experience with HR systems such as Workday, SAP, or similar.
  • Proficiency in IT tools like Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
  • Experience managing third-party suppliers.
  • Minimum months of operational training delivery experience.
  • Background in LMS administration and report writing.
