Learning and Development Advisor, Manchester

Kennedys is seeking a Learning and Development Advisor to join our global HR team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to talent development initiatives during a dynamic period of organizational change.

The successful candidate will support various talent projects, including performance management, talent development, and career pathways, while promoting learning opportunities across the firm. Key skills include strong planning, organizational, IT, and relationship-building abilities.

Our hybrid working policy allows flexible work from home and either our Chelmsford or Manchester offices.

Team

The Kennedys HR team supports the firm worldwide in areas such as Business Partnering, Learning & Development, Recruitment, Diversity & Inclusion, Reward, and HR Systems. The team is based in multiple locations, including Chelmsford, London, Manchester, Belfast, Dublin, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, Basking Ridge, and Miami.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support talent development and learning projects collaboratively with L&D Business Partners and stakeholders.
  2. Provide operational support for projects, including planning, logistics, and task completion.
  3. Maintain and update the Learning Experience platform to ensure engaging and relevant content.
  4. Lead communication and marketing efforts for learning initiatives.
  5. Promote learning programs, career opportunities, and stories to foster a learning culture.
  6. Manage engagement with our Learning Champions network to increase awareness and participation.
Required Experience
  • Experience supporting global talent projects.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and technological skills.
  • Experience with modern learning platforms and tools like Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication, persuasive writing, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple activities.
