Job summary

Justteachers Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a student in Key Stage 4 from September 2026. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping young people succeed academically, socially, and emotionally as they prepare for their next steps.

You will work closely with teachers, the SENCO and pastoral teams to ensure consistent support, develop learning targets and support emotional wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting secondary-aged pupils with SEN.
• Understanding of SEMH, autism, ADHD, or moderate learning difficulties.
• Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills.
• Ability to motivate and build positive relationships with young people.
• Reliable, professional and flexible approach.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
