Job summary

Qualiteach Education Group Ltd is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for a long-term role in a mainstream secondary school in the London Borough of Haringey, starting ASAP. You will support students across KS3 and KS4 with classroom, small-group and 1:1 assistance.

The role focuses on helping students access the curriculum, develop confidence and independence, and support behavior in lessons, collaborating with teachers and pastoral staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in education and SEN is desirable.
• Experience supporting students with ASC, ADHD, SEMH or other needs would be advantageous.
• Ability to support students across KS3 and KS4 and help access the curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, small-group and one-to-one support to students across KS3 and KS4.
• Help students access the curriculum, complete classwork and build confidence and independence.
• Support student behaviour to keep lessons focused and positively engaged.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and pastoral team to deliver academic, social and behavioural support.
