Job summary

Qualiteach Education Group is seeking a Maths Teaching Assistant in the London Borough of Haringey for a long-term role starting ASAP. The role involves supporting Maths delivery across KS3/KS4, assisting in classrooms, and providing targeted support in small groups and 1:1 sessions.

You will work with teachers to help students access the Maths curriculum, build confidence and drive progress while supporting pupils with behaviour and engagement in lessons. Prior education experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Maths and behaviour in a classroom setting.
• Desirable experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Education experience in another context is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching staff in Maths across KS3 and KS4.
• Deliver small-group and 1:1 interventions with students.
• Help students access the curriculum and complete classwork.
• Promote positive behaviour to create a productive learning environment.
