Job summary

Qualiteach Education Group Ltd is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant for a mainstream secondary school in Waltham Forest, London. You will support pupils on a one‑to‑one basis or in small groups, help deliver differentiated materials, and contribute to a calm, inclusive classroom environment.

Starting in September, this long‑term supply role is full‑time, with a daily rate of £93–£115. You will work closely with teachers, SENCOs and parents to monitor progress and promote confidence,

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with learning needs.
• Ability to adapt materials to different abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills with pupils, families and staff.
• Commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Support individual students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
• Assist in preparing and delivering differentiated learning materials.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and promote positive social interaction.
• Monitor student progress and feed back to teaching staff and parents as appropriate.
• Support pupils in developing confidence, independence and engagement with learning.
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
