Job summary

Unique School Solutions are supporting a vibrant and diverse Ofsted ‘Good’ Primary School in the S5 area of Sheffield to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work in Key Stage 2. The role will be working within the classroom under the direction of the teacher supporting students with the Key Stage 2 curriculum. Start date: September 2026.

Rate: £95 per day. Contract type: Temp - perm. Working hours: Monday – Friday, term time only 8.30- 3.30.

Qualifications

• Strong KS2 curriculum knowledge.
• Experience working in a school.
• Ability to build rapport with young learners.
• Ability to work under the direction of the class teacher as well as using own initiative.
• Ability to support small groups with intervention learning.

Responsibilities

• Support students with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Assist the teacher in classroom activities.
• Provide intervention support to small groups.
