Job summary

PK Education is looking to appoint a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant (KS2 TA) to join our successful supply team and work in a local primary school in Sheffield. This is a fixed term Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant (KS2 TA) role, which will commence ASAP.

The role involves delivering Literacy and Maths interventions to small groups, while also providing general classroom support for a class of 31 children. The ideal candidate will hold a Level 2 qualification in Childcare and KS2 TA experience.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
• Experience as a KS2 Teaching Assistant in a primary setting.
• Experience supporting small nurture groups to boost attainment.
• Genuine desire to be part of a committed school team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Literacy and Maths interventions to small groups.
• Provide general classroom support for a KS2 class.
• Support a class of around 31 pupils within a good primary school.
