Job summary

Blackwater Community Primary School, in partnership with Truro and Penwith Academy Trust, is seeking a dynamic teaching assistant to support our Year 3/4 class, Wheal Busy. This part-time role, Thursdays and Fridays 8:30am–1:15pm, sits in our welcoming Key Stage Two team with a strong inclusive ethos.

You will help deliver a creative, child-centred and challenging curriculum, support children with additional needs both indoors and outdoors, and contribute to a caring, stimulating environment

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of high-quality teaching and learning, including how to support children with additional needs.
• Ability to deliver a creative, inclusive and challenging curriculum that inspires and motivates children.

Responsibilities

• Support Year 3/4 class, Wheal Busy, on Thursdays and Fridays (8:30am–1:15pm).
• Deliver a creative, inclusive and challenging curriculum both indoors and outdoors.
• Contribute to a caring, stimulating environment that values every learner.
