Blackwater Community Primary School, in partnership with Truro and Penwith Academy Trust, is seeking a dynamic teaching assistant to support our Year 3/4 class, Wheal Busy. This part-time role, Thursdays and Fridays 8:30am–1:15pm, sits in our welcoming Key Stage Two team with a strong inclusive ethos.

You will help deliver a creative, child-centred and challenging curriculum, support children with additional needs both indoors and outdoors, and contribute to a caring, stimulating environment

Truro and Penwith Academy Trust, together with Blackwater School, are seeking to appoint a dynamic and committed teaching assistant to support our Year 3/4 class, Wheal Busy. Our Key Stage Two provision is outstanding with an inclusive ethos along with high-quality teaching and opportunities for all.

Blackwater CP School is in a beautiful, rural setting close to the city of Truro with excellent facilities and easy access to the most wonderful outdoor learning environments. We have a fantastic Wild Area where skills and knowledge are taught to support the children to become well-rounded and empathetic individuals. About You:

This is a part-time position within our Key Stage Two team, working on a Thursday and Friday 8.30am - 1.15pm. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual with a child‑centred approach, who can deliver a creative, inclusive and challenging curriculum that inspires and motivates children. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of high-quality teaching and learning, including how to support children with additional needs to help them achieve their full potential, both indoors and outdoors.
