Job summary

PK Education Limited is seeking a dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our supply team, based in a local primary school in Sheffield. You will teach a Year 2 class and support literacy and maths interventions.

This fixed-term role starts ASAP, with safeguarding responsibilities and a commitment to high attainment within a supportive KS1 team.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS.
• Experience as Year 2 class teacher.
• Experience delivering Literacy and Maths interventions.
• Experience working with nurture groups to boost attainment.
• Experience supporting children in KS1.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging KS1 Year 2 curriculum.
• Provide small group catch-up sessions for 28 pupils.
• Support the class as part of a KS1 team.

PK Education is looking to appoint a Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our successful supply team and work in a local primary school in Sheffield. This is a fixed term Key Stage 1 Teaching role, based in a Year 2 classroom starting ASAP

The role

Working as part of a dynamic and creative Key Stage 1 (KS1) team, the Key Stage 1 Teacher will focus on providing an engaging Y2 curriculum. At times the successful Key Stage 1 Teacher will also be providing small group catch up work for a class of 28 children.

The school

This good primary school is looking for a committed and successful Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their motivated team. The Head Teacher has a positive approach to leading and managing the school. Children in Key Stage 1 currently make good to outstanding progress and enjoy coming to school.

Requirements

• Hold QTS.
• Have experience of working as a Year 2 class Teacher
• Be experienced in working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment.
• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
• Have experience supporting children in primary education in Key Stage 1 (KS1).
• Ideally have experience delivering Literacy and Maths interventions.
