Job summary

PK Education is seeking a Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our supply team and work in a local primary school in Sheffield. This fixed-term KS1 teaching role is based in a Year 2 classroom with start ASAP.

The role involves delivering an engaging Year 2 curriculum and providing small-group catch-up for a class of 28 children, while contributing to a motivated school team. DBS checks and safeguarding are required.

Qualifications

PK Education is looking to appoint a Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our successful supply team and work in a local primary school in Sheffield. This is a fixed term Key Stage 1 Teaching role, based in a Year 2 classroom starting ASAP

The role

Working as part of a dynamic and creative Key Stage 1 (KS1) team, the Key Stage 1 Teacher will focus on providing an engaging Y2 curriculum. At times the successful Key Stage 1 Teacher will also be providing small group catch up work for a class of 28 children.

This good primary school is looking for a committed and successful Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their motivated team. The Head Teacher has a positive approach to leading and managing the school. Children in Key Stage 1 currently make good to outstanding progress and enjoy coming to school.

Requirements

To be considered for the Key Stage 1 Teacher position, you will:

• Hold QTS.
• Have experience of working as a Year 2 class Teacher
• Be experienced in working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment.
• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
• Have experience supporting children in primary education in Key Stage 1 (KS1).
• Ideally have experience delivering Literacy and Maths interventions.
