Job summary

PK Education is seeking a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant (KS2 TA) to join our supply team in a local Sheffield primary school. This fixed-term role starts in November and focuses on delivering literacy and maths interventions to small groups while providing general classroom support for a class of 31 pupils.

The successful candidate will hold at least a Level 2 qualification in childcare, have KS2 TA experience, and be comfortable working with nurture groups to boost attainment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare.
• Experience as a KS2 Teaching Assistant.
• Experience delivering Literacy and Maths interventions.
• Experience supporting KS2 classes with nurture groups.
• Genuine desire to work as part of a committed school team.
• Willingness to undergo safeguarding checks.
