Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Preston on a full-time basis. The role supports KS1 pupils and works closely with class teachers to deliver high-quality learning experiences.

The position starts Monday 2nd November, with hours 8:45am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. The role offers competitive pay of £14.25 per hour and a route to longer-term opportunities for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting children within a school setting is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships with pupils and staff.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils in Key Stage 1 during classroom lessons and activities.
• Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
• Encouraging engagement, confidence, and positive behaviour.
• Assisting with classroom preparation and resource organisation.
• Supporting children with varying learning needs to access the curriculum effectively.
• Collaborating with teaching staff to promote pupil progress and wellbeing.
