Richard Lee Primary School in Coventry is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our KS2 team. The role is Grade 3 Point 4, 35 hours per week, term-time only plus teacher training days, with hours 8:15am to 4:15pm on some days and 8:30am-3:30pm on others.

The appointment is permanent and pro rata pay is £21,355 to reflect hours worked. You will support learning across KS2, assist with SEND and vulnerable pupils, and work closely with staff, children and families to raise attainment

Qualifications

• Has experience of working with children across the primary age range.
• Has a desire to further develop their skills.
• Has excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
• Can support senior leadership in providing high-quality childcare and education.
• Can observe, plan, track and evaluate learning and development and set individual targets.
• Will work in respectful partnership with parents/carers when supporting children in their learning and development.
• Has a sound knowledge of behaviour management and SEND.
• Is approachable and resilient.

Responsabilités

• Support SEND and vulnerable pupils in small group interventions or one-to-one.
• Inspire and motivate children to make excellent progress in learning and development.
• Nurture strong relationships with staff, children and families to raise aspiration and achievement.
• Observe, plan, track and evaluate learning and development and set individual targets.
