Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting passionate KS2 Teachers to join welcoming primary schools across Redcar from September 2026. Whether experienced or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), we offer long-term, full-time opportunities with potential for permanent contracts.

You will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 2, create an inclusive classroom, assess pupil progress, differentiate work, and support reading, writing and maths while building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.

Qualifications

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience in KS2 is desirable.
  • ECTs encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with KS2 and Primary curriculum.
  • Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Assess, monitor and record pupil progress.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
  • Develop pupils' reading, writing, maths and wider curriculum skills.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers and colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and the wider school team.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
  • Support pupils with additional learning needs.
  • Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times.

KS2 Teacher - Redcar

Milk Education is working with a number of welcoming and supportive Primary Schools across Redcar and the surrounding areas and is looking to recruit passionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated KS2 Teachers to join schools from September 2026.

Whether you're an experienced KS2 Teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to develop your teaching career, we'd love to hear from you. We have a range of long-term, full-time opportunities available, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

You'll play a vital role in delivering engaging, high-quality lessons across Key Stage 2 and creating a positive classroom environment where every child feels supported, encouraged, and able to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

Skills, Qualifications & Experience
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching within KS2 is desirable.
  • ECTs are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong knowledge of the Primary and KS2 curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Strong understanding of assessment and pupil progress.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and support pupils.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
