Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking qualified KS2 teachers to work across Shirebrook and surrounding areas. Opportunities include daily supply, short-term, long-term and permanent roles across Years 3 to 6.

You should hold QTS, have recent KS2 experience, strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum, effective classroom management, and be eligible to work in the UK. DBS and references required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK qualification.
• Recent KS2 teaching experience in a UK primary school.
• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
• Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Flexible, reliable and professional approach.
• Enhanced DBS and suitable references.
• Comprehensive employment history covering previous 10 years where possible.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
• Maintain high expectations for pupil behaviour, progress and achievement.
• Adapt teaching to meet differing abilities and additional learning needs.
• Assess pupil progress and inform future teaching with findings.
• Support pupils in developing confidence and independent learning skills.
• Deliver targeted interventions where required.
• Work with Teaching Assistants, colleagues and parents, following policies.

Or are you looking for flexible teaching work where you can support pupils as they develop greater independence, confidence and academic understanding? Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking enthusiastic KS2 Teachers to work across primary schools in Shirebrook and the surrounding areas. Opportunities are available across Years 3 to 6, including daily supply, short-term, long-term and permanent roles. We are looking for full-time and part-time teachers, with opportunities available to suit your experience and preferred year groups.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum
• Maintaining high expectations for pupil behaviour, progress and achievement
• Adapting teaching to meet different abilities and additional learning needs
• Assessing pupil progress and using assessment to inform future teaching
• Supporting pupils in developing confidence and independent learning skills
• Delivering targeted interventions where required

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
• Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2 or a UK primary school
• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
• Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
• A flexible, reliable and professional approach
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances where applicable and suitable professional references
• Comprehensive employment history covering the previous 10 years where possible
