Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking enthusiastic KS2 Teachers to work across primary schools in Retford and the surrounding areas. Opportunities are available across Years 3 to 6, including daily supply, short-term, long-term and permanent roles.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK teaching qualification.
• Recent KS2 or UK primary school teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
• Effective classroom and behaviour management.
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure and police clearances where applicable and valid references.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
• Maintain high expectations for pupil progress and behaviour.
• Adapt teaching to meet different abilities and needs.
• Assess pupil progress and use assessments to inform future teaching.
• Support pupils in developing confidence and independent learning skills.
• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants, colleagues and parents.
• Follow safeguarding, curriculum and behaviour policies.
