Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking reliable and adaptable Primary Supply Teachers to work across a range of schools in Shirebrook and surrounding areas. Flexible full-time and part-time roles with days to long-term bookings across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

You will deliver pre-planned lessons, maintain classroom routines, and adapt quickly to different schools while ensuring pupils stay engaged. QTS with DBS and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent UK teaching qualification.
• Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school.
• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management.
• Enhanced DBS and suitable references.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Comprehensive employment history covering the previous 10 years where possible.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
• Recent experience teaching within a UK primary school
• Good knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A reliable, professional and adaptable approach
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances where applicable and suitable professional references
• Comprehensive employment history covering the previous 10 years where possible
• Right to work in the UK

Teachers undertaking short-term or long-term cover bookings are paid in line with the appropriate teaching pay scale from day one.
