Supply Desk Ltd. is seeking a KS2 Teacher in Maidenhead for a full-time role on a temporary-to-permanent basis, starting in October. The school focuses on high-quality teaching and developing confident learners, with a collaborative staff and strong commitment to safeguarding.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging KS2 lessons, monitor progress, and contribute to school life beyond the classroom. QTS is essential, and previous KS2 experience is desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where pupils feel confident, respected and encouraged to learn.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, using assessment information to identify areas for development and inform future planning.
• Provide appropriate challenge and support to ensure all pupils are making good progress.
• Promote positive behaviour and establish clear routines and expectations within the classroom.
• Support pupils' wider development, including their confidence, independence, social skills and well-being.
• Work effectively with colleagues, support staff and parents to ensure pupils receive consistent support.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and take an active role within the school community.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 2 is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and current teaching and assessment practices.
• Excellent classroom management and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
