Job summary

Supply Desk Ltd is seeking a KS2 Teacher for a Maidenhead primary school. This full-time, temporary-to-permanent role starts in October and requires QTS with KS2 experience.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons, assess pupil progress, manage behaviour, and collaborate with staff, parents, and the wider school community to support pupils' learning and development.

Qualifications

• QTS is essential.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where pupils feel confident, respected and encouraged to learn.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, using assessment information to identify areas for development and inform future planning.
• Provide appropriate challenge and support to ensure all pupils are making good progress.
• Promote positive behaviour and establish clear routines and expectations within the classroom.
• Support pupils' wider development, including their confidence, independence, social skills and well-being.
• Work effectively with colleagues, support staff and parents to ensure pupils receive consistent support.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and take an active role within the school community.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 2 is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and current teaching and assessment practices.

We offer a £100 referral fee for successful referrals of friends or colleagues who complete 5 or more shifts.
