Job summary

Supply Desk are seeking a KS2 Primary Teacher for a busy school in the Bushey area. Start ASAP, full-time position with a pay range of £150-£220 per day depending on experience.

You will plan and deliver engaging KS2 lessons, differentiate for all learners, assess progress and foster a positive learning environment. Collaboration with staff and safeguarding training are included in this role.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching KS2 preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative and age-appropriate lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
• Assess, monitor and record pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly.

• Communicate with parents/carers regarding pupil progress.

Supply Desk are currently seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and passionate KS2 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Bushey area. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupils' academic and personal development, and creating a positive classroom environment where every child is encouraged to thrive.

This role is ideal for an inspiring teacher who is passionate about education and committed to helping pupils develop their knowledge, confidence and independence throughout Key Stage 2.

Key Responsibilities:

Role Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (preferred)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the KS2 National Curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to differentiate teaching to meet a range of learning needs
• Passion for education and supporting children's development
• Knowledge of safeguarding
• Primary school experience (desirable)
