Job summary

Clockwork Education have been approached by a friendly school in County Durham to recruit a part-time SEND teaching assistant to support pupils across Key Stage 2. The role is Monday to Friday, starting ASAP and on an ongoing basis.

You will work one-to-one with SEND children, with some group work expected, and you may lead group sessions. The ideal candidate is proactive and capable of taking the lead in activities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with SEND children in a school setting.
• Confident supporting individuals one-to-one and in small groups.
• Willing to lead short group sessions and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Support SEND children one-to-one across KS2.
• Provide extra in-class assistance during lessons.
• Work independently with individuals and small groups.
