Job summary

Clockwork Education Ltd in the Durham area is helping a welcoming school recruit a general cover Teaching Assistant for immediate, full-time support across the National Curriculum, assisting pupils with a range of tasks and activities.

The role requires prior supporting experience, the ability to work with small groups, a Level 2 qualification, two educational references, and an enhanced DBS disclosure. You will join a committed team and receive ongoing support from our dedicated consultant.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supporting role
• Confident and experienced in working with small groups of children
• To hold or put in process an enhanced DBS disclosure

Responsibilities

• Offering general support across the school to support pupils with all areas of the National Curriculum
• Working independently with small groups of children and some one to one
• To use own initiative and have the ability to change plans accordingly
