Job summary

Engage Education Ltd. in Barnet is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support KS1–Barnet, Hendon in a Mainstream, High Needs class.

You will assist with 1:1 or small group work, differentiated activities and interventions, and help create an inclusive environment for all pupils to thrive, including support for social and emotional needs within the SEND programme.

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND in a school or educational setting.
• Patience, adaptability and a genuine passion for helping children achieve potential.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.

We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Barnet. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to the learning and development of pupils with additional needs.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups to access the curriculum
• Assisting teachers with differentiated learning activities and interventions
• Helping create an inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive
• Supporting pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs as part of a structured SEND programme

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience supporting pupils with SEND in a school or educational setting
• Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
• Level 2 or 3 TA qualification preferred
