About the role:

Justteachers is seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive SEN school in Manchester at a KS2 level of learning. This full-time role is due to start in September 2026 and they would like to offer a temp-to-perm position to the right candidate.

The setting provides key support to students with both cognitive and behavioural needs including ASD, ADHD and SEMH. They focus on building confidence, resilience, and academic skills, ensuring that every child reaches their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and tailored lessons to meet the diverse needs of pupils at a KS2 level.
  • Foster positive relationships and manage challenging behaviour effectively.
  • Work closely with support staff, parents, and external agencies to create a holistic support network.
  • Implement strategies to support students’ SEMH needs and encourage personal growth.
  • Maintain high expectations for learning and behaviour, creating a safe and inspiring classroom environment.
Pre-requisites:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching children with SEMH needs or in an alternative provision setting is desirable.
  • Strong classroom management and behaviour support strategies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Two education or school-based references.
