Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a caring KS2 SEND Learning Partner for a permanent role at a junior school in South Gloucestershire. You will support pupils with SEND, deliver individual and small-group interventions, and help pupils build confidence and resilience in an inclusive classroom.

The role involves close collaboration with teachers, adapting activities to meet needs, promoting positive behaviour and wellbeing, and contributing to a safe, supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people, ideally within SEND.
• Patient, positive and compassionate.
• Able to build strong and trusting relationships with pupils.
• Committed to helping every child make progress.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND with their learning and engagement.
• Provide individual and small-group support where required.
• Help children develop confidence, independence and resilience.
• Adapt activities to meet individual learning needs.
• Support positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
• Work closely with teachers and other members of the school team.
• Help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
