Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd. is seeking a caring KS2 SEND Learning Partner for a permanent post at a welcoming junior school in South Gloucestershire. You will support pupils with SEND, fostering confidence, resilience and inclusion within daily activities.

The role involves working closely with teachers to adapt tasks, nurture wellbeing and create an engaging learning atmosphere. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:40am–3:20pm, with a salary from £14.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Has experience supporting children or young people, ideally within SEND.
• Is patient and compassionate in dealings with pupils.
• Can build strong, trusting relationships with students.
• Works well as part of a team.
• Is committed to helping every child progress and feel valued.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND with their learning and engagement.
• Provide individual and small-group support where required.
• Help children develop confidence, independence and resilience.
• Adapt activities to meet individual learning needs.
• Support positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
• Work closely with teachers and other school staff.
• Help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
