Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking a dedicated KS2 SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant for a mainstream primary school in Warrington. You will provide 1:1 support to a pupil with special educational needs, adapting activities to maximise access to the KS2 curriculum.

Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO, you will help implement IEPs, foster an inclusive classroom, monitor progress, and support the pupil's emotional regulation and personal care where needed in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with SEN in an educational setting.
• Strong understanding of KS2 curriculum requirements and pedagogical approaches.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with staff and families.
• Patience, resilience and proactive problem-solving approach.
• Relevant childcare or education-related qualifications are desirable.
