Thrive Group is recruiting two enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistants for a warm, inclusive primary special school in Wavertree. You will support a pupil 1:1 in the classroom and through targeted interventions, helping them build confidence, communication and independence in a calm learning environment.

The ideal candidate will have SEN experience, be patient and a strong communicator, with a flexible, creative approach.

The Role

As a 1:1 TA, you'll play an essential role in supporting pupils both in the classroom and through targeted interventions. You will help your child build confidence, develop communication skills and foster independence, ensuring they always feel valued and understood. No two days are the same - you'll join a team that celebrates every step forward, both big and small.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with a variety of SEN needs
• Assist teachers with planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
• Implement individual education plans and behaviour support strategies
• Create and maintain a positive, nurturing learning environment where every child can succeed
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, parents and outside professionals

• Has experience working with children with SEN, ideally in a primary or special school setting
