Randstad UK is seeking a dedicated EYFS/KS1 SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant for a Kirkby primary school. You will provide focused 1:1 support to a student with SEN, helping them access the curriculum within an inclusive classroom.

Responsibilities include implementing tailored strategies, maintaining progress records, and collaborating with teachers, SENCO, and families to ensure consistent support and safeguarding for the child.

Competenze

• Qualified in supporting teaching and learning in schools (Level 2 or Level 3).
• Proven experience as a 1:1 support assistant, ideally in EYFS or KS1.
• Strong understanding of SEN, including specific learning difficulties or complex needs.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusting relationships with children.
• Patient, proactive and resilient approach to problem-solving.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.
