Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd is recruiting KS1 Primary Teachers to support Wakefield and Bradford partner schools with flexible day-to-day bookings. You will deliver engaging KS1 lessons, follow school planning as provided, and maintain a positive classroom environment.

Applicants should hold QTS (ECTs welcome) and have sound knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum, with strong classroom management and communication skills. A flexible, adaptable approach and phonics knowledge are desirable.

Yorkshire and Humber/ temporary / £140 - 170 per day

Our partner schools provide welcoming environments where pupils are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and enthusiasm for learning.

We are looking for a KS1 Primary Teacher to work on a flexible day-to-day basis, with opportunities for long-term and permanent positions becoming available within our schools. The successful KS1 Primary Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 1 / KS1, follow school planning where provided and maintain a positive classroom environment.

The successful KS1 Primary Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 / KS1
• Sound knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
• Excellent classroom management
• Strong communication skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach
• A knowledge of phonics schemes
