Qualifications

• Holds QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Maths and Science at secondary level.
• Experience in SEMH/SEND settings desirable but not essential.
• Patient, resilient and adaptable approach to teaching.
• Passionate about helping young people overcome barriers and achieve potential.

Responsibilities

• Teach Maths and Science to KS3 and KS4 pupils.
• Plan engaging, differentiated lessons meeting varied learning needs.
• Support pupils to develop confidence, resilience and a positive attitude to learning.
• Create a calm, structured classroom where students can thrive.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists and the wider school team to support pupil progress.
