Job summary

The Federation of Middleham Church of England (VA) Junior School and Spennithorne Church of England (VA) Infant School invites applications for a General Teaching Assistant with a SEN allowance and a Midday Supervisory Assistant role. The position focuses on supporting Key Stage 2 pupils at Middleham and includes 27.5 hours GTA and 2.5 hours MSA per week.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a school setting.
• Understanding of child development (academic, social, emotional).
• Experience working with children with additional needs (SEND).
• Good communication and teamwork; proactive in training and development.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in Key Stage 2 during class and at lunchtime.
• Provide 1:1 support for a pupil as required.
• Work across Middleham site with potential cross-site duties.
