Job summary

St William of York Catholic Primary Schools in London seeks a Teaching Assistant and Midday Meal Supervisor to support pupils, including those with SEN. You will assist the class teacher, run intervention groups, and contribute to an inclusive, positive learning environment.

The role requires 5 GCSEs including Maths and English, experience with ASC and Speech and Language, and a flexible, team-oriented approach. An additional midday meal supervision payment applies.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 5 GCSEs (A-C) including Maths and English.
• Experience of supporting young pupils with ASC and Speech and Language is essential.
• Ability to teach intervention groups; training will be given.
• Ideally understanding of early reading and phonics.

Responsibilities

• Work with the class teacher to ensure inclusion within the classroom.
