Job summary

St John’s Primary School in North Yorkshire is seeking a General Teaching Assistant and MSA with SEN experience to join our supportive team. The successful candidate will help pupils progress and reach their full potential through guided activities and collaborative learning.

The role is term-time only with additional training days; DBS check will be required, and you will work closely with children, families and staff to maintain a safe, high-standard learning environment.

General Teaching Assistant with SEN + MSA

Grade: C, 3-4

Contract:Permanent

Hours: GTA: 8 hours. Term time only + training days, MSA: 5 hours. Term time only

Location:Knaresborough, North Yorkshire

We are seeking to employ a General Teaching Assistant and MSA with some SEN experience who is enthusiastic, innovative and self- motivated. The successful candidate will demonstrate a positive approach with the main aim of helping pupils to continue to make progress and reach their full potential. They should have a commitment to supporting high standards of teaching and learning through guided tasks and activities, be keen to work as part of a close team, as well as have the ability to develop warm relationships with children, colleagues and parents.
