Job summary

Brookside Primary School in England is seeking an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be conscientious, well organised and capable of motivating children in years 3, 4 and 5, with a sound knowledge of the KS2 curriculum in English and Maths.

Key duties include providing cover teaching as required, supporting groups and individuals, undertaking Teaching Assistant tasks and supervising lunchtimes.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of the KS2 curriculum with a focus on English and Maths.

Responsibilities

• Teach cover as and when required.
• Support group work and provide one-to-one assistance.
• Carry out Teaching Assistant duties and lunchtime supervision.
• Build excellent relationships with Year 3–5 pupils and promote active learning.
