Saint Benedict Catholic Voluntary Academy seeks a Cover Supervisor to ensure high-quality learning when teachers are absent. You will guide students through pre-prepared work, maintain a purposeful learning environment and support the wider life of the school.

This permanent role is 37 hours per week, term time only, with opportunities to work with KS5 occasionally. The school values a warm, faith-centred community and strong student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to supervise lessons in KS3/KS4 when teachers are absent.
• Ability to manage classroom behaviour and keep students on task.
• Commitment to high-quality learning experiences and student wellbeing.

Responsabilités

• Provide a high-quality administrative service within the main school office.
• Supervise KS3/KS4 students on pre-set activities in the absence of a teacher.
• Be caring and supportive, supporting students to achieve exceptional results.
• Inspire learning and progress and promote student wellbeing.
• Be confident addressing large groups of young people.
