Job summary

Supply Desk Ltd in the Chichester area are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join their welcoming secondary school. You will supervise lessons across KS3 and KS4 in the absence of teaching staff, ensuring students stay focused and engaged with the work provided.

This permanent, full-time, term-time position runs 8:30am–3:00pm with a pro rata salary. Immediate start is encouraged for a rewarding role supporting students' learning and classroom continuity.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people is desirable.
• Ability to supervise lessons and maintain order in KS3/KS4.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, organised and committed to supporting students' learning.

Responsibilities

• Supervising classes across KS3 and KS4
• Delivering work and instructions set by teachers
• Maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment
• Supporting students with their learning where appropriate
• Managing behaviour confidently and consistently
• Building positive relationships with students
• Supporting the wider school team with daily duties
• Helping ensure learning continues effectively during staff absence
