Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a welcoming primary school in Bradford that is rated Good. They are seeking a Cover Supervisor on a full-time, permanent basis with a Year 6 focus to deliver pre-planned lessons and support learning.

The successful candidate will manage classroom behaviour, follow school policies and use strong KS2 curriculum knowledge to support all pupils, including those with SEND. A positive, professional and adaptable approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the KS2/primary curriculum, with a focus on Year 6.
• Experience working with primary-aged pupils.
• Knowledge and experience of supporting pupils with SEND.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Confidence in following school policies and delivering pre-planned lessons.
• Positive, professional and adaptable approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons for Year 6 pupils.
• Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a conducive learning environment.
• Follow school policies and procedures at all times.
• Support pupils, including those with SEND, to access learning objectives.

The school is looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor on a full-time, permanent basis, with a particular focus on supporting pupils in Year 6. The successful Cover Supervisor will be expected to confidently deliver pre-planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour, follow school policies and use their strong curriculum knowledge to support pupils, including those with SEND.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
