Job summary

Balshaw Lane Community Primary School is seeking an inspirational Assistant Headteacher to join our Senior Leadership Team. This role leads the curriculum across Key Stage 2 and supports the Headteacher to ensure high standards of teaching, behaviour and personal development across the school.

The successful candidate will have QTS, substantial KS2 leadership experience and a commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and community partnership. This is a permanent, full-time role within the school.

Qualifications

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.
• Extensive leadership experience within Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6).
• Proven ability to lead curriculum development and drive school improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the curriculum across Key Stage 2 in collaboration with the EY/KS1 Assistant Headteacher.
• Contribute to shaping school improvement and raising outcomes for all pupils.
• Work with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to embed high standards of teaching, behaviour and personal development.
