Job summary

Vision For Education Ltd. is seeking a KS2 Primary Teacher to cover a Year 4 class in Gateshead (NE16) from November 2026 to February 2027. This full-time temporary role includes planning, marking and assessment responsibilities within a small, collaborative primary school.

The role offers excellent daily PAYE rates, a guaranteed pay scheme (subject to availability), pension contributions and ongoing CPD opportunities through a dedicated consultant.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with primary school aged children.

Responsibilities

KS2 Primary Teacher (Full-time, Temporary)

£600 – £1162 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

November 2026 - February 2027

The School and Role

This primary school in Gateshead (NE16 area) is currently looking to recruit a KS2 Teacher to work on a full-time basis from November 2026. Working in school until February, the KS2 Teacher appointed for the role will be covering a Year 4 class, where pupils have differing levels of attainment. Throughout this placement, there will be full class teacher responsibilities (planning, marking and assessment). This is a small, close-knit primary school, where staff work together to ensure all children have good learning opportunities.

Requirements

The desired KS2 Primary Teacher will have;

• Experience of working with primary school aged children
• Experience of working with pupils with SEND
• A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
• An ability to work as part of a team
