Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is recruiting a KS1 teacher for a part-time, temporary role in Bedlington, Northumberland. The position runs from October 2026 to December 2026, covering a Year 2 class for three days weekly with Read, Write, Inc phonics and KS1 mastery.

The School and Role

A Primary School based in Bedlington are looking to employ a part-time KS1 teacher to join their dedicated team from October 2026. The successful candidate will be working within a Year 2 classroom 3 days each week, with all pupils working at varying levels. The school are looking for an adaptable teacher, who has excellent knowledge and experience of delivering the Key Stage 1 Curriculum, including Read, Write, Inc Phonics. This position is open to experienced teachers only.

Requirements

• Experience of teaching within KS1 is essential.
• An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• The ability to plan and deliver differentiated learning.
• An excellent understanding of how to support pupils with SEND.
