Teaching Personnel is working with a friendly, forward-thinking primary school in Newport, seeking a committed KS1 Teaching Assistant to support children across Reception to Year 2. You'll work closely with teachers and the SENCO to deliver targeted support in phonics, early literacy, and maths, helping pupils develop essential skills and confidence.
Whether you’re supporting a Year 1 child with phonics or helping a Year 2 pupil build number skills, your work will make a meaningful impact every day.
KS1 is a critical phase in a child’s education. As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll help lay the foundation for a child’s future by supporting their development both academically and emotionally.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
