The Role :
This KS1 Graduate Teaching Assistant role involves working closely with class teachers to support pupils in Year 1 and Year 2. You’ll provide targeted 1:1 and small group interventions in literacy, numeracy, and phonics, helping pupils reach age-related expectations. You’ll also support general classroom activities, reinforce positive behaviour, and help prepare resources.
The Candidate :
The school is looking for a graduate with a strong interest in education and child development. You should be enthusiastic, patient, and able to build positive relationships with young children. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow direction are essential. Any previous experience in a school or working with children will be a strong advantage.
